Its been ages since I stepped back here, and as usual, like a dirty old cathedral untouched for centuries, this whole place is dead, unvisited and neglected since I left it.
Several notes of well wishes and greetings and complaints from regular visitors collected at the doorway. I picked them up to read them, and I felt a jolt as I realized how long the Padfutonian Archives had been neglected.
My stallion sneezed once. It was quite dusty.
Heaving a great sigh of regret, I strode over to the familiar desk in the corner, wiped away the dust and pulled out my quill.
" Many things have come and past this great month. The voyage to the Cat City was successful and indeed enjoyable. The local banquets and their feline theme really did amaze me. With three other Legionnaires, Frozster, Marinaris and Cross, we travelled only some parts of the city.
The voyage back was worse. I contracted a common ship sickness and inclusive of the stormy seas and oh-so bumpy trip, I took a week to recover at Port Padfoot.
And so the weeks after passed without much ado. I stayed at Port Padfoot Inn, writing letters to old comrades and testing new simulation software for warfare usage.
And what a great party that day. Many ex-Legionnaires of Fort ISB and numerous Forts such as Fort MD were present, and it was a great get together at the expense of Jeffrey's help.
My duties at Fort ISB will start soon, actually on the fifth sunrise of the first moon next year.
Soon, I will be going on board the HMS. A - ASIA on a voyage to the capital of the Cat cities, KL. It will be for four short sunrises, and then back to Port Padfoot.
To the original intent of this Journal entry,
I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Many of you don't realize it, but the original intent of celebrating Christmas is actually to glorify the day the Son of God made his humble entrance to our world.
Hear, those who shall hear, and flame not, those who won't hear.
Nevertheless, everyone be merry, drink wine, ale, eat great food, socialize and love each other.
I would like to thank EVERYONE for being in my life and contributing in your own way to mold me into the Shawn we all know today. For truthfully, without anyone of you, I barely deserve to exist. What is existance if no one shall appreciate it?
Even God himself created Man to love Him, and He to love.
It's once a year an excuse we get to use to be as happy as our souls permit, therefore, Everyone!
I love you all. =D

I returned my quill and looked once more into my Journal.
An owl hooted in the distance. It's late, I thought to myself. I shut the book.
I stood up, and led my black stallion outside into the night, before riding to Port Padfoot Inn at top speed.
